Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is excited about the new Champions League season following Thursday's draw in Monaco which has left last season's winners with Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon, Legia Warsaw in Group F.

Real, coached by Zinedine Zidane, defeated Atletico Madrid in the final for the second time in three years to win their 11th European title.

"As always our aim is to win everything because we have the duty being Real Madrid," Perez said on the club's website. "We have improved our roster this season and we have a coach that has fit so well at Real Madrid that for him everything is easy. We know that we have to win the Champions League, the La Liga and the Copa del Rey."
