Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a two-year contract to seal a summer transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker is out of contract in June, and has been chased by a host of top sides, including Arsenal’s rivals Manchester United.
There has been talk of the 34-year-old demanding astronomical wages, particularly if he were to move to the Chinese Super League, but Arsenal hope he will accept a two-year deal on wages of £250,000 per week.
Arsenal have been short of quality up front this season, with Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez their top scorers on 20 and 16 goals, respectively.
