Four former Uruguayan presidents expressed their "historic solidarity" with Armenia on Wednesday in the context of the conflict with Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. It is about Julio María Sanguinetti (1985-1990; 1995-2000); Luis Alberto Lacalle Herrera (1990-1995); Tabaré Vázquez (2005-2010; 2015-2020) and José Mujica (2010-2015), who also expressed their desire for an "immediate ceasefire" and the "restart of talks to achieve peace and a definitive solution to the conflict".
