Based opposite Albert Square, the subterranean eatery serves up a range of traditional Armenian cuisine, and current director Arman is the third owner of this family-run joint.
Serving meze and kebabs to loyal diners since 1968, the restaurant remained largely unchanged until it underwent a major re-brand late last year.
"Henrikh comes in a lot – every once or two weeks," says Arman. "With him you'd never say he is a celebrity ... he's just a simple guy , just a human being like others. As a customer as well he's not fussy and he eats everything. Everybody loves him – and we are proud that we have him playing in Manchester United.”
