At least 30 people were killed on Thursday when a car bomb targeted a wedding in central Iraq attended by tribal leaders, security sources said.
"Thirty civilians and Sunni tribal elders were killed when a suicide car bomb hit a wedding party," security sources told Sky News Arabia.
Some sources put the death toll far higher - dozens of others are also known to have been injured in the blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsiblity for the attack.
The bombing hit a wedding taking place on Thursday night in Amiriyat Fallujah, a small city in the Fallujah district of Anbar province, central Iraq.
The groom, named locally as Seif Jumaa Maajal, was reportedly among the dead.
