This was the dramatic scene after dozens of cars were swallowed up in a massive 600ft road collapse along a river in Italy.
Emergency crews were called to the banks of the Arno river in the Italian city of Florence amid reports a huge section had given way by the water's edge.
The collapse, which was 600ft long and 21ft wide, is thought to have been caused by a ruptured water pipe.
Fire fighters descended on the scene and are using pumps in a bid to drain the water. Nobody was hurt in the collapse.
According to the Huffington Post, the Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella said: 'No injuries, but damage - heavy damage. It is a very serious chasm.'
Residents from two nearby houses have been evacuated as a precaution while the operation gets underway this morning.
