Crowd trouble in Albania gets Legia 3-0 win from UEFA after Europa League match abandoned

NYON, Switzerland - UEFA says it awarded Legia Warsaw a 3-0 win after a Europa League qualifying match in Albania was abandoned due to crowd trouble.
Legia player Ondrej Duda was struck by an object thrown from the crowd when the Polish side led Kukesi 2-1 early in the second half last Thursday.
The third qualifying round, first-leg match was abandoned in the 52nd minute.
UEFA says its disciplinary panel ordered Kukesi to default the match.
Kukesi will play its next home match in UEFA competitions in an empty stadium. A second match sanction was deferred for a two-year probationary period.
UEFA found the Albania club guilty of a range of charges, including fans displaying an illicit banner, and imposed a 70,000 euros ($77,000) fine.
The return match is on Thursday in Warsaw.
