Government forgot about Tsarukyan’s “unpaid” taxes
 Speaking on Gagik Tsarukyan’s scope of business activities during this speech of February 12 meeting of the Republican Party the RA President said: “Over the years, unverified rumors on billions of unpaid taxes that are stolen from the pensions of elderly people and rights of young people’s education disguised under the word "Charity" continue to remain suspended in the air. I call on the Prime Minister to assign the appropriate authorities to thoroughly check the authenticity of the news till the end and present the data to the public”. Two days after the President’s speech the PM assign the appropriate authorities to check the news on Tsarukyan’s unpaid taxes. One month later the media specialist’s callled on the Ministry of Finance to hand the list of Gagik Tsarukyan’s businesses that are being investigated. The Ministry of Finance announced that the data are not subject to disclosure. A few weeks ago MAMUL.am news agency also sent a wriiten request to the RA Ministry of Finance, the Department of Information and Public Relations where we tried to find out why the Ministry does not give any information of investigative proccess in Tsarukyan’s businesses, while information on other major businessmen are available. Our written request to the Ministry is left unanswered. We also spoke with Iveta Tonoyan, the spokesperson of Gagik Tsarukyan, who also stated that they possess no information on the data of the above mentioned investigations. |
