Kim Kardashian changes cars almost more than she changes her shoes.

However, even her designer heels are no match for her expensive taste in wheels.

On Saturday, the 34-year-old celebrity was spotted heading home in a brand-new model vehicle which cost her around half a million dollars.

The new motor is a 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom, the base model of which starts at $407,000 - and of course Kim is not about to have the standard.

Taking the car to even high price brackets, the star had some custom work done before she drove home.

A license plate holder indicated that Platinum Motorsport had worked on the car, a Los Angeles-based customization and luxury-car company that has sold to the Kardashian clan in the past.

Solid matte silver in colour with dark-tinted windows and narrow headlights, the new, four-door sedan was clearly not cheap.

While the Phantom is the newest of Kim's cars, she has had plenty of experience behind the wheel of several high-end automobiles in the past.

Kim has had at least two Rolls Royce in the past, both models in the Ghost line.
