In the first round of the European Chess Team Championship, the Armenian men's national team beat the Montenegrin team with a score of 2.5:1.5, and the women's national team beat the Czech team with a score of 3:1.
     In the men's tournament, GM Gabriel Sargissian brought the winning point to the team. The games of GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Shant Sargsyan and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan ended in a draw.
     In the women's tournament, WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan and WGM Maria Gevorgyan won. The games of IM Lilit Mkrtchian and WIM Susanna Gaboyan ended in a draw.
     In the second round, the Armenian men's team will play against the Croatian team, and the women's team will play against the Serbian team.
