Russia since the summit “the big seven” held in late may 2016 in Japan for a year did nothing to try to seek a review of the sanctions regime of the EU against Moscow. This statement was made by the head of the European Council Donald Tusk.

“Since our last summit in Japan, we saw nothing that would justify a change in our sanctions policy against Russia”, — said Tusk.
