A teenager in USA has admitted that he had planned to kill Pope Francis during his visit to the country in 2015. According to the U.S. Department of justice, 17-year-old Santos colon intended to buy explosives to build pipe bombs and set them around the city.
He also tried to hire a sniper to kill the Pope during mass, but "killer" was a FBI agent under cover.
Colon was detained. The punishment is not yet appointed, but, under American law, the teenager could face a prison sentence up to 15 years and a fine of 250 thousand dollars.
