The Egyptian authorities were allowed to search for the tomb of Nefertiti radar

The Minister of antiquities of Egypt has given prior permission for the study in the Valley of the Kings using radar to check the theory of the existence of the secret tomb of Nefertiti in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. About it reports Associated Press with reference to the official representative of Department.

Muchira Moussa (Mouchira Moussa), consultant in communication with the press Ministry, said that the final resolution will be issued, likely within a month. He stressed that research should be non-invasive so as not to damage the monument.

British Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves (Nicholas Reeves) in August, offered a hypothesis that has not yet been published in scientific journals. He believes that the tomb of the 19-year-old Pharaoh has hidden doors to two rooms, one of which may be not yet found the tomb of Queen Nefertiti. This is the conclusion he came, having studied photography at a scale of 1:1 and scans the walls of the tomb. Egyptian authorities invited him to Cairo to meet with experts and authorities.
