The RA President and the Commander-in-Chief of the military Serzh Sargsyan today participated in the solemn session dedicated to the 23th anniversary of the formation of Armenian Armed Forces. During his speec the A President announced that nobody may doubt that Azerbaijani will pay a high price or every lost life of Armenian soldiers.

“The purpose of the enemy’s aggressive actions is obvious. The Azerbaijani government does not hide that it tries to escalate the situation by different political and military measures. It’s a simple blackmailing policy the target of which is not only Armenia, but the international community as well. But all these efforts will be gone in vain.

We do not undertake aggressive actions as we have no reason to instigate war. But I want to mention that all the actions from Azerbaijani side will get their appropriate answer.

We remain to our stance that the best way in this situation is solving the conflict with negotiations and this is possible only under the respect of ceasefire regime. However I want everyone be awair that we are ready for everything and we have considered all the possible developments of the events. We can and must to negotiate with the sober partner but we must enforse peace to those who are not sober”,- said Serzh Sargsyan.
