Japan has introduced a new package of anti-Russian sanctions, which includes a ban on imports of non-industrial Russian diamonds, export restrictions, and asset freezes, the country’s Ministry of Economy and Trade said, Report informs, citing TASS.

As part of the package, Japan imposes export restrictions on 57 companies, which include a number of industrial and defense enterprises, aircraft makers, shipbuilders, and research institutions. Their full list is unknown at this point.

It also blacklisted 35 individuals and 43 companies, whose assets in Japan will be frozen if found.
