Sultan Kosen, 35, from Turkey, stands 8ft 1in and met Jyoti Amge, from India, who is just over two feet tall. Bizarrely, their air fares were paid by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board in a bid to boost visitor numbers to Cairo’s ancient monuments.
