A total of 1,000 glittering drones took off, lit up the night sky of the traditional Lantern Festival in Guangzhou, capital city of south China's Guangdong Province.

The drones, in the different colors of light, flew in various of formation such as Chinese characters of "Blessing," "Lantern Festival," and the map of China, all of which were really appealing to spectators.

The performance set a Guinness World Record with the biggest number of drones involved.

All the drones were manufactured by a scientific enterprise in Guangzhou. With a specially-designed control system that is capable of operating in only one computer, an man could ensure all the 1,000 drones flying according to their specific routes.
