“Waterfall from Heaven” in Taiwan

The Taiwanese photographer Jeff Chen managed to remove a rather rare moment when a tropical downpour hit exactly half of the main city of the island – Taipei.

In the left half of the picture, part of the city is completely covered by a wall of rain, while the area on the right is dry. In the background one can see one of the main attractions of Taipei – the skyscraper “Taipei 101”.

According to experts, such weather conditions are observed in Taiwan in the summer quite often and are explained by the unequal distribution of humidity in the atmosphere, the Daily Mail reports.
