Over 30 dead, 100 injured in Shah Noorani Shrine blast

Over 30 people are dead and at least hundred of others injured after a bomb went off in the crowded Shah Noorani Shrine in Hub town of Balochistan’s Lasbela District on Saturday evening, Edhi sources said.
Details coming from local TV reports suggest the blast occurred near the courtyard at the shrine where devotees were performing Dhamal on Saturday.

Rescue teams reached the scene and started shifting the injured to nearby hospitals. The process, according to officials, will however take at least six hours.
Emergency has been imposed in Civil Hospital Karachi, AMS Dr. Abdul Qadir said.
Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti immediately responded to the incident, saying the provincial administration was focused on saving maximum human lives.
He also confirmed that an ambulance chopper could not be used in the rescue operation due to darkness in the mountainous region, an area with no cellular network coverage.
The fateful incident occurs a day after the law enforcement agencies killed commander of a banned outfit during an action in Hub area.
