Michel Temer officially became President of Brazil

Former Vice-President of Brazil Michel Temer officially took charge of the country after the Brazilian Senate declared the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff, reports bi-Bi-si.
He will lead the country until 31 December 2018. Temer pledged to stimulate economic growth of Brazil, which, according to the publication, is experiencing its deepest downturn in 25 years.
For the impeachment of Rousseff voted 61 of the 81 senators. They supported the accusations of budget fraud, which was the process of impeachment.
The process of impeachment of Rousseff kicked off in December 2015. The opposition accuses her of concealing the budget deficit of the country during the election campaign in 2014. She is also accused of involvement in corruption schemes involving state oil company Petrobras.
