PAP leader seeking second place in ticket
''Haykakan Zhamanak'': Members of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) refused to comment on the rumors that the party intends to run for Parliament on a mixed ticket with the Rule of Law party.
The newspaper's sources, however, keep on claiming that both a relevant decision has been made and PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan agreed to the third place in the mixed ticket, with Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia's President and Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) to top the ticket.
In this case, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is expected to get the second place in the mixed ticket.
Sources within Armenia's ruling circles report that Mr. Tsarukyan has given his prior consent, but the issue has not yet been settled.
The PAP leader is still laying claims to the second place in the ticket.
As regards Artur Baghdasaryan, he is not expected to appear on the ticket – he seeks to be appointed Armenia's prosecutor general before the elections.
