Split ticket agreement reached

''Haykakan Zhamanak'': The leaders of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan, reportedly reached a "split ticket" agreement Nov. 24.
The newspaper failed to get any official comments from the PAP.
Talking to the newspaper, Hovhannes Sahakyan, a RPA member, did not rule out the information is true. However, the RPA Council has not yet discussed the issue.
The coalition forces' participation on a split ticket cannot be ruled out unless they decide to run for Parliament on a straight ticket each.
