At least 70,000 people showed up at an anti-government rally in Prague demanding the resignation of the government and measures to reduce gas prices, Czech police said.
On September 3, a large anti-government rally began in the center of Prague due to the dissatisfaction of local residents with the measures taken by the authorities to combat rising gas prices and a general increase in commodity prices.
The protesters demanded the resignation of the current Cabinet, headed by Petr Fiala, by September 25.
