Daily losses of Ukrainian troops in war with Russia are between 100 and 200 people.
This was stated by adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak, reports BBC Ukraine.
One of the main reasons for the heavy losses, Podolyak called the lack of parity between Ukrainian and Russian military capabilities. According to him, Ukraine needs hundreds, not “handfuls” of the most powerful artillery systems that the West can provide. For parity with the firepower of the enemy and the de-occupation of the territory of Ukraine, according to Podolyak, up to 300 missile systems are needed.
Earlier today, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Ukraine loses up to a hundred of its fighters dailyand the number of wounded per day can reach up to five thousand.
June 1 in an interview with President Volodymyr Zelensky declaredthat from 60 to 100 Ukrainian soldiers die daily at the front. About 500 more people are injured daily.
Even earlier, in mid-April, President voiced Media figure about the death of 2.5 – 3 thousand military Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war against the invaders. At the same time, about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers were injured, and “it’s hard to say how many will survive.”
