Toyota announced a new crossover on a fresh teaser
Already next Thursday, July 9, the Japanese automaker will show its new crossover, built on the same “cart” as the last Toyota Corolla. Recall this is the TNGA-C platform. In the lineup of the Japanese brand, the future novelty will be located next to the RAV4 and C-HR.
We learn about the date of the imminent premiere from a teaser published by the brand, where, in addition to the date of interest to us, a cursory sketch of the crossover is captured.
The appearance of the new SUV, we can judge by spy photos, which at one time replicated specialized media. So, the crossover will receive a dimensional radiator grille, LED DRL strips, as well as angular wheel arches with black plastic overlays.
The new cross is likely to borrow the motor range from the Asian Corolla family. This is a 1.8-liter aspirated and hybrid. The drive can be either front-wheel or full. With the new model, the Japanese, apparently, are going to enter the global market.
The first new product tested by motorists from Australia, South America and Asia. Then the crossover will pave its way to the European market. But it’s too early to talk about a possible Russian SUV debut.
Previously, Nissan showed the final teaser for the Ariya electric crossover. The premiere of the novelty is scheduled for July 15.
