Meghan Markle baby news – Royal fan sends people into a frenzy after over-excitedly filming police escorting car ‘lined with pink blankets’ towards Frogmore Cottage

An overexcited royal fan sent Brits waiting for Meghan Markle's baby into a frenzy after filming police escorting a car lined with "pink blankets" through the streets of Windsor.

Tamoor Ali was left chanting “Meghan’s having a baby” after he caught the moment the motorcade whisked past lines of cars before turning down a road towards the home the Duchess of Sussex shares with husband Prince Harry.

The Bentley was seen turning into the grounds of Windsor, with a witness saying he spotted something pink in the back window.

The car was seen disappearing down the road as the excited witnesses guessed it was Meghan Markle returning home from having her royal baby.

The 37-year-old was driving with his brother-in-law to the train station earlier today when they were ordered to pull over to the side of the road to let a row of black cars pass by with an escort from cops on motorbikes.

Speaking exclusively to the Sun Online, Mr Ali said: "We had got off the M4 and a police motorbike stopped us and asked us to pull to the left.

"Then we saw a vehicle that had pink paraphernalia at the back of the windscreen go past - it was going very slowly over speed bumps.

"It seemed to me some kind of blanket of some sort.

"It seemed like someone was in there who couldn't handle speed bumps - a baby."

But a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said the motorcade was not linked to the arrival of Baby Sussex.
