Two hungry Cougars attacked a seven year old boy

Seven-year-old canadian was taken to hospital in a serious condition after the attack of two lions. It is reported by CTV.

The incident occurred near lake Cowichan in Canada on the reserve. The animals attacked the child and injuring his head, neck and hands. Boy in serious condition was taken to hospital in Vancouver.
Later, the employees of the reserve found two Cougars near the scene and shoot them. According to Sergeant Scott Norris, they were thin and looked “not very good”. It is noted that animals could be more, but at the moment in the vicinity none was found.

In February, the American resident of the state of Colorado went to the Park for a run and suffered from the attacks of a Cougar. The predator attacked the Americans from behind and caused him numerous injuries, but he was able to kill the animal.

Puma is one of the largest felines in the world. In size this predator is second only to the tiger, lion and Jaguar. However, cases of attacks by Cougars on humans are rare.
