Russia update: Putin’s latest weapon will blow US missiles out of sky

The Tor system is designed to take out all sorts of aerial threats to the motherland, including precision guided missiles such as the Amercian Paveway used by US bombers.

The brutal system can also target enemy aircraft, with up to an 80% chance the missile will obliterate its target.

It comes as US President Barrack Obama announced 3,000 troops would be sent to the Russian border over NATO accusations of aggression.

Footage shows highly-trained Russian troops in snow camouflage programming the devastating weaponry.

As a missile is fired into the air, they activate the Tor defence system.

A second missile fires and immediately tracks the first before blowing it out of the sky.

Close-ups show the rocket launching and straight away begin tracking its target with unnerving precision.

The mobile system is able to cross different landscapes and fire while on the move.

It is currently deployed in Azerbaijan and Belarus.

It follows the deployment of Russia's S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems to create a ring of defensive force around Moscow.

President Putin is reportedly plotting to bring back the Soviet Union and the likes of NATO won't be able to stop him.
