The United States expanded sanctions against Russia

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it has prepared an extended list of companies against which the sanctions in connection with the conflict in Ukraine.
     List of companies included in the "black" list posted on the website of the government Gazette, the Federal register. Officially the document will be published on 7 September.
     The document notes that sanctions Bureau of industry and security Department of Commerce will affect the 81 company and the 86 names. 75 items belong to the Russian Federation, seven – to the Crimea, which in the text is marked as part of Ukraine, another two names apply to India and Hong Kong.
     The sanctions extend to companies, "which, according to the U.S. administration, acting to the detriment of national security or foreign policy interests of the United States". In addition, according to Washington, of sanctioned companies and organizations violate the principles of international law and provoke the conflict in Ukraine.
     The restrictive measures of the Ministry of trade, mainly duplicates of the sanctions imposed earlier by the U.S. Treasury.
     Sanctions of the Ministry of trade include, inter alia, the introduction of additional requirements for licensing.
