Iraqi forces are closing in on the center of the embattled town of Ramadi. Troops, along with Sunni tribesman, have pushed into the center of the western Iraqi city.
However, the soldiers are reportedly facing stiff opposition from the Islamic State, which seized Ramadi earlier this year.
Witnesses say extremist snipers and other fighters are slowing efforts to recapture the city.
