Vahagn Tevosyan: "Yesterday in the yard of one of the houses in Verin Artashat we were releasing a bear kept in an unbearable conditions

Vahagn Tevosyan, Public Relations Coordinator of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets informed on his Facebook page that in the village of Verin Artashat yesterday was released the captive bear. “Yesterday, in the yard of one of the houses in Verin Artashat, we were releasing a bear kept in an unbearable condition. The owners couldn't justify why do they need that poor animal but they were still resisting. Everywhere it is, this incomprehensible company is presented as slavery and slavery as a livestock the nature and significance of communication and quality of wildlife are understandable and iteresting to very few people. The story is long and strange, I'll tell you one day. In any case, we have freed the bear with great difficulty, we moved the bear to Urtsadzor. In the last seconds when the bear was sleeping, the housewife jokingly said "if only the bear now rains and frets those who gave him freedom". I do not agree with her words. But it is a fact that one day nature will tear down humanity because we stop being a part of nature day by day showing hostile attitude towards nature. Gradually "you are not a human being" phrase becomes less offensive. What i'm saying: "Today is the World Wildlife Day, one can be a little less human in its most negligible meanings".

Responding to Vahan Tovmasyan's note: Lena Nazaryan, a member of the NA "Elq" parliamentary faction, said that the law on the fauna will be discussed in the National Assembly and such an attitude towards the animal should be adequate. “Wild animals are kept in prison, they make it decoration, they keep hungry and thirsty for animals then say they are livestock. The fine for stealing and imprisoning an animal shall be equal to the penalty of killing” emphasized MP.
