McLaren 650S, Mercedes-AMG GT S, And Porsche Boxster Crash In Colombia
A McLaren 650S, Porsche Boxster S, Mercedes-AMG GT S, and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado were all involved in crash on a Colombian highway.
The accident happened on the Bogotá-Tunja highway between the towns of Villapinzón and Chocontá at roughly 7 am on Sunday.
Fuel Car Magazine claims that the crash may have been triggered by one of the vehicles performing an unexpected lane change in the wet conditions at high speeds.
The subsequent sequence of events is unclear, but images show that all of the vehicles received quite substantial damage in the crash.
Starting with the McLaren, we can see that almost its entire front fascia has been ripped off. Additionally, one of the sides has been torn to shreds, as has the rear. Similarly, both the Porsche Boxster S and Mercedes-AMG GT S have battered and bruised front ends and are both in serious need of cosmetic surgery.
The presence of an intact Porsche 911 in the background of some images leads us to believe that the four exotics were traveling together when the crash occurred.
As for the lonely Toyota Land Cruiser Prado seemingly caught up in the crossfire, it can be seen resting in a ditch to the side of the highway.
All four occupants were taken to a nearby hospital in stable conditions.
