In the world killed 530 journalists in the last five years

According to the UNESCO report in 2012-2016 worldwide died of 530 journalists, and for 11 years from 2006 – 930. About it reports Deutsche Welle.
     According to the human rights organization reporters without borders, in the ten months since the beginning of 2017, was killed 47 members of the media.
     In this case, nine out of ten cases the perpetrators of these crimes escape punishment.
     The most vulnerable members of the so-called civil journalism, publishing in blogs or social networking information from those regions that do not dare to visit the journalists of the mainstream media.
     “The Arab region, according to the UN, is 2012’s most dangerous for journalists, primarily in connection with the armed conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen,” the report says.
     2 November proclaimed the international day to end impunity for crimes against journalists by the UN General Assembly resolution in 2013. The date was chosen in memory of two French radio journalists killed in Mali on 2 November 2013.
     In the course of 2016 in Afghanistan has killed a record number of journalists – 13.
