:UN counted 760 million people living in poverty.
     Despite some progress, international assistance to the people out of poverty around the world today, there are about 760 million people who live on less than $2 a day.
     This is stated in a new report by the UN Secretary General on the implementation of the Agenda for sustainable development, according to the UN News Center.
     “Over the past 10 years, more than billion people were able to get out of poverty. However, about 760 million still live below the poverty line, 1.9$. USA”, – stated in the document.
     In a new UN report says that between 2000 and 2015 has been reduced by 37% maternal mortality and a 44% level of smertnosti children under five years . In this regard, in the UN come to the conclusion that the benefits from the successes of development are unevenly distributed, both between countries and between rural and urban residents, and even between women and men.
     The UN Secretary General’s report is confined to the Ministerial meeting in the framework of the Political high-level forum on sustainable development. Recall that the 17 sustainable development Goals for the period until 2030 was adopted unanimously by all 193 member States of the UN Summit in September 2015. Then, world leaders pledged “to put an end to poverty and hunger in all its forms and manifestations and to ensure that all people can live in a healthy environment and to realize their potential in conditions of dignity and equality”.
