Tennis hero Venus Williams has spoken out to offer her side of the story after she was blamed for a fatal car crash that claimed the life of an elderly man in Florida, calling it an 'unfortunate accident.'
Williams, 37, was at a major intersection in Palm Beach Gardens on June 9 when her car was T-boned by another vehicle that had right of way, a police report said.
'Ms. Williams entered the intersection on a green light,' her attorney Malcolm Cunningham said.
