The number of flood victims in Peru reached 90 people

In Peru, the number of victims of severe floods increased to 90 people. Earlier 72 people were reported dead. Strong downpours and storms have caused the most powerful floods in recent decades. The total affected about 863 thousand people, including 347 wounded, caused damage to almost 200 thousand houses and other buildings.

The Peruvian authorities allocated 2.5 billion salts (about $ 766 million) for rehabilitation works. More than 800 cities were affected by the disaster. The regime of emergencies continues to operate in the country.
