ISIS’ Nineveh military police chief killed in airstrike on Mosul

     ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – The head of ISIS’ military police in Mosul was killed in a coalition airstrike on the right bank of the city, the Kurdish counter-terrorism forces announced.

“According to information, on February 14, 2017, he was killed as a result of a coalition’s airstrike on the right bank of the city of Mosul,” a statement from the Kurdish counter-terrorism forces said.

“The name of this terrorist is Haqi Ismail Aued Haider, known as Abu Ahmed. He was in charge of ISIS military police in Nineveh. One of his aides was also killed in the operation,” the statement added.
